SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) The San Francisco 49ers have hired Ray Brown as assistant offensive line coach.
The 49ers are looking to upgrade their offensive line heading into the 2010 season after the unit dealt with injury and inconsistency last season. The team made the announcement of Brown's hiring Thursday.
The 47-year-old Brown served the past two seasons as assistant offensive line coach for the Buffalo Bills. Before that he spent the second half of the 2006 season as a special assistant on the Washington Redskins' coaching staff, working with the offensive linemen. (MORE)
